Welcome Associate Rabbinic Candidate Rabbi Daniel Reich

Rabbi Daniel Reich was born and raised in Central New Jersey. After spending two years learning in Israel at Yeshivat Reishit Yerushalayim, Rabbi Reich attended Yeshiva University in New York City. He graduated with a B.A. in History and received Semicha Ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) as a member of the Honors Program. Rabbi Reich currently serves as the Assistant Rabbi at Congregation Adat Yeshurun in La Jolla, California as well as a Judaic Studies Teacher at Southern California Yeshiva High School.

Rabbi Reich is married to Brooke, a native of Englewood, New Jersey, and they reside in La Jolla Shores with their three children, Leeba (4), Shira (2) and Asher (5m). Brooke is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Yeshiva University.

In addition to his Semicha studies, Rabbi Reich has completed a Certificate Program in Pastoral Mental Health Counseling. He has a love for music and enjoys cooking.
